Lady is a fine example
of a classic
west coast
yacht
from the
renowned B.C. designer/builder.
A
strong, heavily laid-up vessel, all-weather capable, she can be
trusted to provide you security, comfort and reliability,
making
her a perfect choice as a year 'round cruiser or live-aboard.
The
main cabin is spacious and open with a showpiece galley to port aft,
and the main helm, starboard forward.
Furnishings consist of table-and-chairs dining set, comfy
reclining armchairs and side tables in place of the built-in dinette
and settee
so
common in most boats.
A new 24” flat screen TV, mounted to the
forward bulkhead, is wired for integration with electronic charts
and plotters. Sorry, the navigation computer is not included in the
sale.
Sliding
doors port and starboard provide quick and easy access to the
side decks or the foredeck.
Under
the main cabin sole are located the ship's service batteries, two new
aluminum fuel tanks, hot water tank, sanitary
system, spare parts stowage and... a wine cellar.
The
aft cabin has two single berths, ample stowage and a private head
with tiled countertop and separate shower stall.
The
cozy foc'sle has two guest bunks and it's own head.
The
interior teak wood joinery and cabinetry is of exceptional quality
and with such striking features as bronze compass rose drawer pulls
and seahorse cupboard handles.
A
companionway door leads from the aft cabin the large stern cockpit.
Steps
on the port side lead up to the aft cabin roof deck with the SS BBQ,
solar charging panels and the fender racks.
A
transom gate opens onto the broad swim grid with the 11' Livingston
tender mounted on dinghy brackets.
The
command bridge has a full helm station with all instruments and
controls with two fixed swivel seats .
The bridge also has a
full enclosure with new vinyl-windowed panels.
As
well, Cove
Lady
has a 3 piece
custom-made,
Lohman whole-boat cover to protect her from harsh winter elements.
The
engines are located under the deck of the aft cockpit. Twin
454 cu.
in. Mercruisers with Bravo outdrive legs.
Exhaust
manifolds and risers, water pumps, and related hoses have all been
recently replaced.
Steering
is hydraulic with telemotor helms powering the steering ram.
Throttle
and gear control is accomplished through a Micro Commander electronic
interface.
